The Morning After

Just as we thought, the snow went no where. It was waiting for us the next morning. We had decided to have a sleepover at Mom's house on Wednesday night. So again after breakfast we walked about and started shoveling! It was SO MUCH FUN! We really had a great time.
You can see from the pictures below where we had left off and what had come down again.
Those are the chairs we sit in to roast marshmallows!!!


We started by breaking up the snow a little to let the sun do some work! Then we took a break and went sledding!!!

We took a little drive to see what the world around us looked like before going home. It sure does look beautiful.

That rock above is Maryland, we are driving over the Potomac River at Point of Rocks, just 1 mile from our place.

Over all we think it was about 18 inches in a 12 hour period. Sure is beautiful but WOW what a lot of work. Nice to be in good company!
